Here’s a quick solution if you need to quickly adjust your scene to block light from a specific angle or portion of it. Simply import any mesh into Unreal (You can also use the primitive meshes that come with Unreal.), place it in your scene as desired, and then navigate to the ‘Details’ panel. Look for the option ‘Render in Main Pass’ and set it to false. This will render the object completely black (though it will still be visible in the scene, so be cautious!), effectively blocking any light source that hits it.
