Reflective District

Reflective District is basically my love letter to Mirror’s Edge and Solar Fields. This album focuses on big atmospheres, airy ambients and heavy pads, featuring melodies that are somewhat sad, somewhat bittersweet and a bit poignant. I was thinking of a not-so-distant sci-fi future as I was composing this album, a world where everything seems so shiny and sleek but underneath, there is always a layer of sadness. This album mostly consists of background themes and action themes.

These background and action themes total 43 minutes. Genre-wise, much like the soundtracks of Mirror's Edge and Mirror's Edge Catalyst, I focused on blending ambient, electronic, psybient, downtempo and a touch of progressive trance. One of the elements all these tracks share is a deep, atmospheric sound design layered with evolving textures and subtle rhythmic movement. This music pack was composed with exploration, motion and contemplation in mind. I imagined a not-so-distant-future world for games or at least large enough environments/levels that allow room for exploration. Of course, you are also more than welcome to use these tracks in your videos, films or during your Twitch streams.
